Valentine’s Day is upon us
site de rencontres swing Given that it’s a day dedicated to love I have decided to mark it by celebrating ALL love. Why just keep it to romantic love when the most important thing is to just be celebrating love in your life in whatever form it comes in. Love is love right? So I am honouring http://www.pavegreen.org/vioper/4643 LOVE in all its glorious forms by offering a ♥♥ site de rencontre maroc gratuit sans inscription 10% discount ♥♥ on bookings made this coming week (until the 20th February 2016) for sessions held in March and April. Happy New Year!
http://theftzapperfence.com/?makisf=lugares-para-conocer-gente-en-new-york&96f=3c 2016 – So another year begins. I’m not really into new year resolutions (possibly because I can never keep them). I think every day is a fresh page onto which you get to write your story. Every good story has twists and turns so some days it will be down right crappy others you’ll soar. That’s life right? That said, there is something mentally clearing about seeing a number 1 on your calendar. Time to take stock of the journey behind you and on what’s ahead. Twenty fifteen rocketed past me and was such a mixed bag but I am so thankful for it. It has helped to define my path and I learnt a lot about me and a huge amount about what I want for myself and for my kids.
It’s about loving what you do
rencontres pluridisciplinaires de diagnostic prУЉnatal The images in this post represent two passions. One was mine, getting to photograph this session. The other was this young dancer following her ballet dreams. Maybe it’s because there is something infections about the boundless opportunities still ahead for kids but it’s a really special energy to be around, watching kids doing something they love.
It’s a pretty big ask
site de rencontre pour israelite A few weeks ago I asked the question on my Facebook page about what parents wanted most for their kids. I did this because when I asked myself the same question my immediate response was “happy”. As was the answer from the majority of others that responded. It’s a pretty natural answer because of course we want our kids to be happy. I want mine to be bouncing off the freaking walls with joy but it had me thinking about what happy was and whether it’s really what we should want for our kids. Stay with me we’re going deep.
I have felt a little rant coming on for a while. Is anyone else sick of reading about getting in shape? Headlines promoting “How to shape up for Summer”. These days we are bombarded with it. In the good old days it was just tv and magazines which was bad enough but now these getting in shape advocates are able to visit us via social media. No where is safe.
The whole body pressure thing is full on enough. Thigh gaps (yes – it’s a thing). People chasing the desire to be skinny (that’s just crazy talk and I can’t fathom why anyone would activity want to achieve skinny #nofun #bony). Getting fitter, stronger, healthier, that I get. But it’s the getting in shape buzz I find interesting.
Some more from my 2014/15 teen reps
I still can’t believe how lucky I was getting three of the coolest girls to be my teen reps last year. Rhoda here is so stunning and her incredibly bubbly personality shines through. She is an absolute dream to photograph and is so versatile. I find this age group so interesting how they can look like young girls one minute and like sophisticated women the next. Tall, elegant, beautiful and loads of fun too – Rhoda has a big future ahead of her, you can just sense she is going to take the world by storm. Here are more of her images from the session.

What a great day to get married!
At the end of November last year I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding in McLaren Vale for a great couple with the most chilled out bride ever (seriously she went shopping on the morning of the wedding for a camera to take on their honeymoon .. I kid you not). It was a hot day too and she still managed to stay cool and look stunning, even after getting onto the amazing (except I’ve been sitting in the summer sun type toasty) bus that was her ride to the ceremony at Parri Estate Wines.
Stacey had arranged some of the most gorgeous details in their vintage styled wedding (Jeff, I may be wrong but I’m going to throw it out there that Stacey was the stylist for the day). They had clearly gone to so much effort and yet seemed happy to go with the flow on the day, and it was truly touching to see a couple so well matched, fun and loving.
It seemed fitting with Valentine’s Day looming that I shared some photos. I have loads of images that I love but here are just a few to set the mood of the day. Prepare yourself for some super cute flower girl and page-boy action too. They were so so gorgeous.
castañar del tiemblo reservas Stacey and Jeff, I wish you every happiness for the road ahead. Thank you for letting me be a part of your amazing day. xoxo
An amazing night at the Capri Theatre
Thank you to all that came along to the Capri Theater to see Dumb and Dumber and support this great event. You all came in such high spirits, with a sense of fun, and it was heartwarming to see Kerry enjoying herself and able to see how many lives she has touched.
It was a fantastic night and I really appreciate you contributing further to the Briggs Family Fundraiser with your generous donations for photos. Also, well done to the organisers who made it a huge success and put in so much time and effort.
